​Booking and Payment

Payment can be via Credit Card (Paypal), Cheque, or BACs transfers.

​

​Museum

The Cotswold Motor Museum is located in the centre of Bourton on the Water village and is packed with cars and motoring history, and what better way to extend your visit to the museum than with the hire of a Classic Car.

​

​Accommodation

The lovely stepping stones cottages sits just in front of the Motor Museum in the centre of the village. Booking for this accommodation is direct via the museum / CSMA. We also recommend other B&Bs in the local area. See our "Where to Stay" page for more information.

​

​Insurance

The vehicle is insured via a fully comprehensive self drive policy and this is included with the stated hire price.

​

​Mileage limit

We have a 200 mile per day mileage limit for the vehicle, any extra miles beyond this are charged at 40p per mile.

​

​Eligibility

You must be over 25 and under 70 years of age unless otherwise agreed and have held a UK or EU driving licence for more than 2 years with no convictions and no more than two speeding offences in the past 3 years.

​

Proof of identity

As required by the terms of the insurance we will need to take a copy of your Driving licence and one other form of identification, namely a utility bill with proof of address. Please do not forget this on arrival as we cannot release the vehicle without this.

​

​Vehicle condition

Our vehicle is maintained to a high standard and you will be required to sign a vehicle condition report to verify the condition of the vehicle and its contents.

​

​Booking / Security Deposit

A 25% (Minimum £50) non returnable deposit is to be paid on booking and the final balance to be received no later than 7 Days prior to the hire period. A £200 refundable cash deposit is required on the day of hire to cover part of the £500 Insurance excess that the hirer agrees to be liable.

​

​Rental period

​There is no limit on how long you can hire the vehicle for, subject to agreement.

​

​Fuel

​The vehicle uses super unleaded fuel and will be supplied with a full tank of petrol. We do ask that the vehicle is returned with a full tank.

​

​Use of Vehicle

​The vehicle is restricted for use of social Domestic and Pleasure in the UK.

​

​Smoking and Pets

​Unfortunately we cannot allow smoking or for you to carry pets in the car.

​

​Breakdown

​The vehicle is covered by Full breakdown and recovery and this is included with the hire price.

​

​Introduction to the car

​We give you a full induction on how to use the car and what all the buttons and knobs do!

​

​Times of Hire

​Hire period for 24 hour periods, starting from generally 6pm. Day hire from 8am to 6pm. However we will agree exact times you require when booking. Please do not have the vehicle outside of the signed agreed times as you will not be insured.

​

Bad Weather

We cannot control the weather and we reserve the right to cancel any booking at short notice if the conditions are deemed unsuitable. In this instance we will provide a full refund. If this decision is made by the hirer then we will provide a refund less the £50 deposit. 

​

​Delivery

​The car is delivered to the Museum / Holiday accommodation just prior to your hire period; we can also arrange to deliver the car to other locations within a short distance.
